Viva la Vida (Prospekt's March Edition) is the reissue of Coldplay's fourth studio album, Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends (2008). It was initially released on 21 November 2008, in Europe, South Africa, and Japan, and worldwide the following days, from 22 November to 9 December 2008.[1] Released five months after the original album, the Prospekt's March Edition features six newly recorded and two reworked tracks, which were simultaneously made available on the standalone extended play Prospekt's March (2008).
While the project was not directly supported by singles of its own, the track "Life in Technicolor II" was released from Prospekt's March on 2 February 2009, while "Strawberry Swing" was serviced from Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends on 13 September 2009.
