Supernova 7 (occasionally stylised as Supernova7) are a fictional alien band created by Coldplay for the concept of their ninth studio album, Music of the Spheres (2021).[1] They originate from The Spheres solar system and are composed by lead singer and guitarist Kasio Mars, keyboardist Eko, drummer Dorean Delorean, wind instrument player Angel Moon, maracas player Blaze, and the duo Loop and Switch on an unique shared instrument.[2][3]
They were introduced in the music video for "My Universe", performing alongside Coldplay and BTS on Supersolis, as a way of opposing the music ban implemented by the Silencers across The Spheres.[4]
