"Colour Spectrum" (stylised as "") is a song by Coldplay from their seventh studio album, A Head Full of Dreams. It is the tenth track on the album.
Composition[]
"Colour Spectrum" is a 1-minute long interlude track that samples four tracks from the album. It is built around the same ambient motif from the opening track "A Head Full of Dreams" and features American singer Beyoncé[1] and Chris Martin's vocals from "Hymn for the Weekend" and "Adventure of a Lifetime", respectively, finishing with Coleman Barks reciting the last line of Rumi's poem The Guest House from "Kaleidoscope".
Adam Silverstein from Digital Spy called the song "touching", wroting, "It ups the spiritual stakes even more [...]. Over a brief instrumental of chirping birds and soothing chimes, that all-knowing voice from 'Kaleidoscope' is back to read the conclusion to Rumi's Guest House poem."[2]

[Verse: Beyoncé, Chris Martin and Coleman Barks]
Ah-oh-ah-oh-ah-oh-ah
Oh-ah-oh-ah-oh-ah
Woo, woo, woo, woo, woo, woo
Because each has been sent as a guide
