Calypso is a fictional planet created by Coldplay for the concept of their ninth studio album, Music of the Spheres. It is the fourth planet on The Spheres solar system and represents the song "Let Somebody Go", the fifth track on the album.

- In Greek mythology, Calypso was a sea nymph who detained Odysseus for seven years and forced him to be her immortal husband in Homer's The Odyssey. Calypso is also Greek for "to cover", "to conceal", or "to hide".
