Tim Bergling (born 8 September 1989, died 20 April 2018), better known by his stage name Avicii, was a Swedish EDM DJ, remixer, and a country and electro house record producer. Avicii ranked 3rd on DJ Magazine 's annual Top 100 DJs in 2012 and 2013 and has been nominated twice for a Grammy Award. His most famous songs are "Wake Me Up", "Hey Brother" and "Levels".
He also produced and collaborated with Chris Martin, co-writing and co-producing the track "A Sky Full of Stars" from the band's sixth studio album Ghost Stories, released on 19 May 2014. He also played and recorded the piano parts on the track. On 2 March 2015, Avicii performed live at Australia's Future Music Festival a new song titled "Heaven" with vocals from Martin. The song was later posthumously released on Avicii's 2019 album Tim.
