Midnigth es la primera canción de Coldplay de este año y es la primera producción desde Mylo Xyloto, claro sin contar Atlas que fue creada exclusivamente para la película Los Juegos del Hambre: En Llamas. Esta canción presenta un nuevo estilo haciendo esta canción muy distintas a los álbumes anteriores, ya que posee elementos electrónicos.
